The hugh number of images we have to cope with nowadays - from actual to historic, from personal to social as a whole - Anett Stuth connects all impressions within her own reflected world of images. In her photographies she quotes different media elements such as film, graphic and painting and thereby creates new space time structures in which every context is open to photography as art form. Despite her serious political, interpersonal and artistic themes, humour is the existential way out of the tragedy in the eyes of the photographer. Stuth creates through collages, arrangments and digital manipulation new compositions, that dig beneath the surface of the traditional defined frame of photographic images.
